About Me

Joseph, a Programs Assistant at Capital Strategies (K) Limited, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Amref University. His professional experience spans across monitoring and evaluation, business development services, training and mentorship. His expertise extends to project coordination, data collection, analysis, and reporting for various M&E assignments, encompassing baseline studies, mid-term reviews, endline surveys, and ad hoc evaluations. In the field of monitoring and evaluation, Joseph has been instrumental in assessing high-impact projects, including the Post Evaluation Survey for the BMZ-funded Integrated Fish Farming and Horticulture Project (IFFHP) and the IFAD-funded Mid-Term Review Annual Outcome Survey for the Aquaculture Business Development Programme (ABDP) across Kenya. Other notable projects in his portfolio include the Endline Survey of the Upper Tana Natural Resource Management Project (UTaNRMP) and the Baseline Survey of the Kenya Livestock Commercialization Project (KeLCoP).
Furthermore, Joseph has played a key role in facilitating and coordinating business training and mentorship programmes funded by organizations like the Mastercard Foundation, working across the 47 counties in Kenya to enhance the capacity of local MSMEs. These skillsets are further complemented by his training in the ILO Gender and Entrepreneurship Together (GET Ahead) program and a certification in mentorship.
